General terms and conditions


These general terms and conditions apply to the complete offer of - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V.. These conditions are available at all times and can be downloaded from the internet site of - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V.. On simple request a written copy can be delivered to you.

Placing an order implies your agreement with the delivery and payment terms. - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. reserves the right to change its delivery- and/or payment terms after its expiration.

Each delivery takes place as long as stocks last. The delivery period shall only start after receipt of the invoice amount. The delivery periods stated are not binding but are merely indicative: no delay in delivery can give rise to cancellation of the purchase or payment of damages to the benefit of the buyer. - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. has the right to make partial deliveries. In case of non-delivery of the goods the sums paid by the buyer will be reimbursed without interest or other compensation.

The obligation of - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. to deliver will be fulfilled, barring evidence to the contrary, as soon as the goods delivered by - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. have been offered to the buyer once. In case of home delivery the report of the carrier will serve as full proof of the delivery offer.

Erroneously communicated delivery addresses are the responsibility of the buyer and may give rise to additional costs.

The dispatch of the order is entirely at the risk of the purchaser. - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. offers the possibility to choose an insured mail delivery.

The prices are those as mentioned on the website at the time of the order.

All prices on the website are in EURO (€) and include 21% VAT.

Trial period / right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Distance Selling Act (article 49 et seq. of 6 April 2010), the customer has the right to return (part of) the goods delivered within a period of 14 working days without giving reasons. This only applies to uncut fabrics. This period starts at the moment the ordered goods are delivered. The buyer is obliged to check the delivered goods immediately upon receipt. The customer must inform - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. in advance that a shipment will be returned. 

Returning the delivered goods is entirely at the expense and risk of the customer. The customer has 14 days to notify the return. After this notification, the customer has another 14 days to actually return it. The refund must be made within 14 days at the latest. If the buyer has not returned the delivered goods to - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. after expiration of the period of 14 working days, the purchase will be considered to be effected. The customer will have to prove that the delivered goods have been returned in time, for example by means of a proof of postal delivery.

Goods can only be returned in the original or similar packaging and without any traces of use (stains, damage, cutting, etc).

Patterns must be unopened. If all conditions are met, - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. will make sure that the full purchase amount will be refunded to the customer within 30 days after reception of the return shipment.

Data management
When you place an order with - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V., your data will be included in the customer database of - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V.. For this we refer to our privacy policy.

Guarantee - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. warrants that the products supplied by it, meet the requirements of usability, reliability and durability as reasonably intended by the parties in the contract of sale. - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. is not responsible for the final suitability of the products for each individual application by the buyer nor for any advice regarding the use or application of the products.

If complaints of the customer are considered well-founded by - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V., - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. will at its option either replace the delivered goods free of charge or come to a written arrangement with the customer about the compensation of the damage, on the understanding that the liability of - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. will be limited to the amount of the invoice for the goods in question. All liability of - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. for any other form of damage is excluded, including additional compensation in whatever form, compensation of indirect damage or consequential damage or damage due to loss of profit, damage caused to other objects by misuse of the products.

Offers are without obligation, unless stated otherwise in the offer.

Additions, changes and/or further agreements are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

Sales receipts are subject to the conditions and terms as stated on the receipt.

Different offers, promotions and gift vouchers cannot be combined. Only 1 offer, promotion or voucher per order can be used.

An agreement between - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. and a customer will be established after an order has been judged feasible by - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V.. - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. reserves the right not to accept orders or contracts without giving reasons or to accept them only under certain conditions.

All images, photographs, drawings, data concerning weights, dimensions, colours, pictures of labels, etc... on the internet site of - Webshop de Stoffenstraat B.V. are approximations only, are indicative and may not give rise to damage claims or dissolution of the contract.

Colours may deviate from reality to a certain extent.

Delivery will only take place after receipt of the invoice amount. If the payment is not received within 14 days, the contract terms will be renegotiated.

Applicable law/jurisdiction
Belgian law applies to all agreements.

In case of dispute, only the courts of Turnhout/Belgium are competent.
