Bouclé fabrics are our absolute favorite. This beautiful woven fabric with different thread colors and thicknesses is typical for Chanel-Style jackets. Bouclé is strong and hardly wrinkles, making it ideal for clothing. This fabric is perfect for jackets, ponchos or coats for cooler days. Tips & Tricks: Use a walking or roller foot on the sewing machine. This helps move the fabric as you sew and the roller foot prevents the needle from snagging in the open fabric. Use 90/14 sewing machine needles. Use iron-on interfacing to reinforce. Be very careful with ironing and pressing; Bouclé fabrics can be easily damaged if they are ironed too hot or pressed too hard.
