Joey is a versatile his & hers short pattern. Two patterns in one. With different pattern parts for men's and women's shorts. The version with bias makes it a sports short. Think of the sponge shorts you wore as a child, but in an adult size. It's great, isn't it?

The men's model reaches to the knee and the women's model is a short. The 'classic' version for men can still be made in a sporty fabric, but equally in a stiffer fabric for a more 'dressy' look. The 'classic' version for women has two lengths.

The short version can be made in a jeans fabric, making it a fresh short. The long version is perfect with a thin fabric that drapes nicely over the hips. Then it becomes a kind of trouser skirt.
