Stretch Bias Binding Bordeaux

Elastic biais is ideal for finishing tricot.

The biais is folded in half over the edge to be finished and sewn on all at once with a stitch that stretches a little. This can be a stockinette stitch, a zigzag stitch or a twin needle finish. You could also use elastic thread for this.
